Hand luggage options recommendations

Just wondering if any AFF use Briggs and Riley hand luggage and what they think of it. I am thinking of purchasing the baseline wide body international.

I currently use a Tumi Kirkland but find getting suits into it is not the easiest, did not need a garment bag when I got it. I travel domestically at lest one a week and at times twice weekly, international is about 5-6 times, some times more.

Key things I am looking for is at least 1 or 2 external pockets for headphones, liquids, aerosols, gels, passport, wallet, phone, internal suiter and a something easy to pack.

I am heading up to SIN in the next few weeks so may pick up one there. As they are not cheap I would prefer to take a good look at one rather than just purchasing online.

Open to to other suggestions.

I've kept an eye on Briggs & Riley for a number of years (much cheaper to buy if you can get them in the USA). My biggest issue with them, thats prevented me from dropping the money, is their weight (the one you're looking at is 4.2kgs?). Strictly speaking, carry on limits can be as low as 7kgs, I've seen upto 15kgs on some carriers, but if the bag alone weighs half your limit, that doesn't leave much for what you need. That said, NEVER in almost 20yrs of flying have I ever had my carry on bag weighed. Just don't look like you're struggling with it I suppose. In the end I got myself a Vicotrinox Werks Traveller 5.0 20inch when i found one on sale, it has the suiter and weighed in at 3.2kgs. They're still around like this one from Peters of Kensington
