Just spent a week in Hamilton Island with the family and made a few Video's, thought you all might be interested.

Visit to the Animal Park:
(worth seeing with Kids, if you have breakfast included from one of the resort hotels you can eat at the breakfast buffet here next to the koala's)

Overall id rate Hamilton Island a great family holiday, but due to it all being owned and run by Hamilton Island Enterprise, dining out can be expensive. (but never had a bad meal, the $20 steak at the poolside terrace restaurant at the Reef View Hotel was really good)
Also good tip, when checking in at the priority counter at HTI, they tell you about the "private seating area" instead of a lounge, its behind some frosted glass doors next to the cafe in the gate waiting area, then up stairs. not quite as nice as a lounge, but heaps better place to wait than downstairs.
