Did a quick search couldn't really find what I was looking for.

I have a 11.5 hour lay over in Los Angeles on the 23rd of December between flights. Now I don't really want to hang around the airport this time rather get a hotel and catch up on some much needed sleep. I have stayed at the Marriot LAX before but could not see anything on there website about half day bookings, I found some that offer but not ones that im keen on. I would probably arrive at the hotel at around 1pm and heading back to LAX at around 8pm. Just thought I would ask here if any knows if the Marriot or something similar do day bookings before I send them off an email asking them about this?

What would be my chances of securing a day booking at said hotel if I just rock up there with no booking if they do offer them?

cheers in advance

I'm sure the LAX Hilton has day rooms, 9am - 6pm.

Alternatively, try making a bid for a room on Priceline

Yes you can book one here.
It's pretty easy to check on the Hilton website if a particular hotel has this by entering identical check in and check out dates.
