Hi FF 'ers, I'm heading to MNL next week with a stopover in Guanzhou. 3.5 hours on the way up and 6 hours on the way back. Anything I need to know? / tips / advice / travel hacks? I'm flying economy and dont have lounge access. Thanks :)

Stay at CAN for the 6 hours as the airport is far from the the city centre, not to mention organising visa (free as you are transitting) to go into Guangzhou city. I would pay for lounge access if available.

Just FYI, there was a video of someone recently who wasn’t able to exit the terminal under the 24hr TWOV because their layover was under 10hrs.
And the terminal was apparently pretty boring too, especially without lounge access

ok thanks. I probably wont have time to exit the terminal anyway so thats ok. But yeah not expecting much from the terminal airside. I'll have some stuff downloaded on my phone and my kindle to keep me going. Hopefully there is somewhere to sit with a bit of a view and as long as I can find a coffee at some point i'll be happy :)
