Hi All

Have a USDM reward booking in early March and have no clue about Guam as a destination.

Really keen on any information from anyone who has been, where to stay (region), sights and things to do, good restaurants to eat it ...

ANY/ALL advice most welcome !

Many thanks

I used to go there for work. Think smaller version of Honolulu, with more military personnel, more strip clubs, and more shooting ranges. Downtown is quite small but ok - good shopping including high end brands. The best bit is that you can drink beer and then go and shoot guns at the range next door. Go figure!

I would recommend finding a resort (if they exist) as the downtown hotels are nothing special.

As a major base for the US Navy and the USAF, most places in town are primed towards taking the military personnel dollars.

I was only there for 12 hours but it's basically a Japanese resort town with really friendly locals.. Try California Pizza for restaurant, really awesome American style diner/restaurant.
