Great Service AMEX!

I'd just like to say that in the short period I've had my card (1.5 months now I think), every time I've rang up the AMEX Platinum card line, I've never had to wait for my call to be answered, and every CSA I have spoken to has been most pleasant and very willing to help.

I'd happily say that this more than makes up for a lot of places not accepting my card in the first place, ALMOST!

Same here, only recently moved to Platinum charge card and so far its fantastic service. And some nice benifits i have already had the chance to use.

Since swapping to Plat Charge and Plat Credit I have found Amex's service second to none.

I also enjoy the extra benefits, however if the service is this good for Plat, how good must it be for Centurion card holders.

Ditto - never had a bad experience with the Concierge service - last month, were flying to new City next day and hadn't booked accommodation - thought we'd do it online the night before - alas, there wasn't a hotel room to be found on net!

After a few hours of hunting gave up and contacted Concierge - ( tip: the non 1800 number for +61 calls is on the back of the card!!) who found a room in seconds!

Brilliant service again.

Worth every dollar.

Yes, it comes at a cost, but for frequent travellers i think its a good deal. If you take advantage of things like the priority pass lounge access and maybe your free flight if you take the second card as the platinum credit card then you can get good value for money.

Concierge is really useful sometimes. Used it a couple of time to arrange things, needed a hotel room, and transport in Vietnam when there was none, quick call and sorted out.
