I entered ADL-MEL-BKK into the Great Circle Mapper today as I've not flown MEL-BKK. ADL-MEL was reported at 643kms whereas previously (couple of weeks ago?) it was 641kms (*). Has anyone noticed any other anomalies?

Note (*): I am 99.999% sure it was 641kms a short while back.

Simples. Expanding earth. 😊 - the alternative to continental drift theory 😛

And yet ADL-SYD remains at 1167km. As a Collingwood member I am concerned Adelaide is drifting from Melbourne.

Interestingly enough 643km puts ADL-MEL right at the limit of <400 miles (399.6). I sense a nascent conspiracy theory. Maybe it will creep to 644km soon?

Melbourne is gradually moving to the left so you'd think it'd get closer to Adelaide if anything.

Obviously ADL has moved a nett 2km more than MEL in the last few weeks. Can't believe The Advertiser hasn't picked up on this obvious example of South Australia leaping forward into the new decade.

Quite happy for that to happen as long as they get rid of those green leather seats in the SYD CL. Not great looking.

Even 1000km is too close to a Collingwood supporter...
