Last year I flew QF CNS-MEL-CBR in J. All I can say is FISH! both flights the options were FISH! I hated it! I am flying VA CNS-MEL-CBR in J tomorrow and I am hoping the menu wont go all FISH! Can anybody confirm this?

Thanks,

Brad

You've missed april fool's day by a long shot.

Perhaps if you google good Friday and/or Easter. You might learn why fish is served in a Christian country.

So from my googling it seems 'we' (not me) eat fish on Good Friday because Catholic people are lazy or not religious enough to fast properly and only do it half-assed by still eating fish and vegetables?

And if you're extra pious, you can order the fish, give thanks to God, then divide the fish amongst all of the Economy pax, who will eat it all and still have at least 12 baskets of leftovers. ;) *

Well if they're going to serve fish then at least do it properly. Yeah, might be a bit much to ask for......

Could always ask for the salad option and put aside the fish. The rest usually goes down quite well; and just request an extra bread and butter.

* Religious / bible reference for the uninitiated. For those who are atheist or non-Christian, please do not be offended. For those who are Christian who view this as sacrilegious, apologies

perhaps not on good Friday. Eating dodgy fish is one thing, but if you can feed the masses it's the bit up on the hill, that comes afterwards, that would be the real tribulation.
