Gold to Silver

Apoligies if this has been covered already, I did a search but couldn't find my answer.

My Gold membership lapsed at the start of the month and they said (in email from memory) I would still have lounge access and Gold privellages for 1 month after expiry date, whilst they re-calculated my tier level. When I log in it tells me I'm Silver. Question is, will I still be Gold on their system as I was hoping to use it to access the Koru Lounge and I highly doubt they are are aware of this 1 month rule.

It used to say on the card that privileges last 1 month (or longer it used to be) after expiry.

Have you checked the back of your Gold card?

I wonder if it would help that, if they want to go down this path, they put both the Review Date and the Expiry Date on the front of the card, rather than a note about the expiry on the back.

Well I managed to get in both times, although my boarding pass showed DJ-S and when scanning the boarding pass it went red (error).
