We have recently moved to the Gold Coast to be closer to family in Sydney and many friends who live here, came across the Gold Coast Travellers Club and thought that looks interesting. They meet up each month or lunch or dinner around the GC eateries and swap travel ideas, travel plans (plus discuss a raft of other subjects) over a glass or three :).

So yesterday we went to Parkwood International Golf Club Bar & Restaurant for lunch to see what its all about, we received a very warm welcome from Jacki the organiser, name badges, met many like minded travellers and all ever so friendly. We had a real nice lunch over 3hours :D and sure will be going again. The attendees were 50 to seniors and yearly membership fee is a mere $10. So if your on the GC its sure worth a look in.
