Expect to repeat yearly
Have 400k Diners points, 100k Virgin and a pityfull 15K Qantas.
Trying to work out if FF points are any use - head is hurting!
Any suggestions welcome

Welcome to AFF Woodyv12.

What class of travel?

Virgin flies to LAX. DL a Velocity partner flies to LHR.

With Oneworld AA, BA fly to LHR.

VS also flies to LHR.

Diners points can be transferred to Velocity, KrisFlyer and QFF. Not sure of any other airlines.

Where are drron and kpc when you need them?

Sounds like USDM may suit your needs, I have done several business class flights from Oz with a stop off in Europe somewhere than a stopoff in the USA then back home... Been able to get them for 110,000 US miles bought during 100% buy or share promos...

Why are we too quick to offer up the goodies to new members. Let the do some research first.

I am all for sharing, but not spoon feeding

Hi JohnK

Thanks for reply

Would like business
Used to fly United by upgrading from Prem Economy and earning enough points to upgrade next time same way but that option has been watered down.
Virgin needs Gold or Platinum but I am only silver but would go gold after 1 trip
There are about 12 airlines with Diners including Delta and AA I think
Rang Qantas ... too hard!

Somebol, I don't really consider USDM one of the crown jewels, that if people use it we lose it sort of thing, unlike some other tricks in the frequent flyer world that people obsess over... And people were helpful in letting me know about that and opportunities like the 140k oneworld awards....

Woody, USDM refers to US Airways Dividend Miles program... Go and have a look at it and do a bit of research and then let us know if you have some questions, there are actually several threads on here about the program you could have a read through...

Earlier this year it switched from star alliance to the one world alliance as it is currently merging with American Airlines so some threads on here will be out of date....
