Glasses made up in Shenzhen?

I will be visiting Shenzhen in April on 2 one-day trips across from Hong Kong. Has anyone had any good experiences with having glasses made up? I have a prescription if necessary.

We will have access to Luo Hu (LoWu), Dongmen and Da Fen painting village.

I tried having glasses made on one of our previous visits but had major problems with supply and quality.

Have been there a few times but cannot comment on getting prescription glasses. You don't happen to be going anywhere near Thailand ? Good value there.

Do it in HK..The prices are far far better than aus and you can be assured of the quality (also no tax unlike shenzhen). Pm me if you'd like a recommendation on a good place I've used.

Have a mate who swears by a place in lowu plaza - Shop 2147 on 2nd flr. Registered optometrist on site and good stock. Has gotten everything from high end frames to cheap foldables and keeps whole family prescription on file. I've got some non-prescip sunglasses from there that appear to be high quality
