anybody got their adjusted yet where the case was sent off to a different team? raised yesterday and have not seen anything yet...

Just checked my spend at WOW over the weekend with Edge came through at full points. Just spent all the Visa1 cards I bought on my levies. Was going to buy more to cover another big bill but paid by Easy Bill Pay. Not as lucrative but less stressful and time intensive.

Will watch where the dust settles. Shame this has been shut down due to ‘money laundering’ concerns as was a great way to run up points quickly and cheaply,

Yep, same. Quite disappointing from Amex really. I wonder how many millions of points they have not given due to the glitch in the couple of days.
Surely now that they are aware of the issue, it should be a relatively simple fix for all accounts.

Well that may depend on what is causing the glitch.

However I have always found Amex to be excellent at honouring points.

Hopeless amex livechat , I was asking what happen to my 1ppd at 23 AUG :

As per the notes left by our back end team, the reason you didn't get the 3X points is because there were few refunds from the same merchant.
The points earned for the refunded transactions got adjusted with these transactions.
All future transactions will earn the correct points with them


Then I gave up arguing with them

I had a similar argument with the philipino call centre last year, was owed 50k points,
I had also got 2k points for a supp card addition,

and no matter how many times I explaiend to them in plain english, they kept on saying, "oh yes sir, you have been credited the bonus points on XX/XX"

it was like talking to someone who couldnt speak english

The philipino call centre is hopeless and useless. I called them why I can’t add my Diners Card to PayPal and they told me that at the moment I can only use at the merchants who have the walk-in shops and cannot be used online yet, that’s why I cannot link the card to my PayPal account. I was just lol lol lol...

My god. I just paid most of my rates online using 20 Visa only1's. Took 40mins! Plus the time to make two trips to the supermarket to purchase them. A lot of repetitive busywork for 6000 points.

Respect for the warriors that do this in much larger quantities. Not sure I could be ar$ed again....
