John, I can understand your father's point of view . If I was 71, and just wanted to get to Greece, I would also pay more to take the direct flight. Let's face it, it's a long way in Y and extremely tiring, especially when you have no interest in stopping anywhere else. I'm sure we will probably feel the same way when we are in our 70's.
