Hi there,

I have finally given up calling the Cathay Pacific general inquiries number after 40 minutes on hold - successive times!. I am trying to contact Cathay to leave a message for a pilot who flys the commercial planes to find out if he has seen or heard from his brother (my friend). I have not heard from my friend since July 15th, and on occasion, he does leave the country on business; however, his phone always goes straight to voicemail in these instances.

I have called his phone for around a month now intermittently and the phone has rung out. I am also concerned that his email address has suddenly started bouncing back. Does anyone know someone at Cathay I can leave a message with?

I am going to call the Police if I cannot get in touch with his brother in the next 24 hours.

Apologies this is completely unrelated to airline loyalty programmes, but I need to get this out quickly to as many people as possible.

Thanks
Stephen

If you have concerns about your friend's welfare then the police is your best point of contact. Maybe even the missing person's squad.

I can't see Cathay wanting to have anything to do with your query. Way too many things could go wrong for them to even consider listening to you. They probably wouldn't even acknowledge the pilots existence.
