Here is a tricky question, we are traveling with a friend overseas via Singapore, we have a QP pass for our friend when we leave OZ, Mrs Bobe will be silver when we leave BUT Gold when we arrive in Singapore, will her Gold status have kicked in by the time we arrive in Singapore so she can guest our friend in to the QP there . ?????

It happened a day after travel, so no I doubt it but you could try?

I doubt it. When I first qualified for Gold, I got over the line with a MEL-SYD flight one morning. However, it hadn't shown up in the system by the time I arrived for my rtn flight that night. Even explaining to the staff (who could obviously have verified my story) didn't help - no QP access.

Unless you had an onward flight you couldn't guest anyway.. But it'll take a day to update anyway
