on a side note just this afternoon I received a congrats on re-qual PS, here is a QP pass which will be of no use to me. (already a QP member) my plan is to give it to dad who does not have lounge access and make his next QF flight a good one.

why not use such thing to make another flyer happy?

Beats my letter which says "a thank you from Qantas Frequent Flyer" the outside and is just a letter reminding me of the double points untill next week... I was getting excited when I saw the letter but this was a bit of an anti-climax to be honest

My wife and I are both gold, and we both got separate letters with an F lounge pass in each.
Thanks QANTAS, just need to get a decent length of time between flights to enjoy it!

I got a bit excited this week when the QF envelope arrived too, thinking I am so close to WP I might be comped the difference. Alas, the letter reminded me of the 50 % extra points arrangement. Which, don't get me wrong, is much appreciated, but alas hits me at my "quiet flying time". Ah well, got my SC run planned, so may yet get there
