Well, that was annoying.

I am on BP medication for hypertension and its generally well controlled by that (and a bit of exercise, and a bit of diet); always a discussion whenever I see GP. GP prescribes another med for another issue and next day I'm light headed. 95/65!! Hmmmm. Does that new med have BP side effects? Googles ... Yes it does! Lucky to get a telehealth appointment with him next day. Errr, yes, I probably should have warned about that ... Stop taking it. No kidding.

I stopped it after the first dose, but BP remained low for the next 4 days, so I telehealthed the GP again. OK - probably should reduce your primary PB medication. Me: I'm losing a bit of weight with the Mounjaro use. Could that be influencing things.?

Yes, for every kilo, your BP would reduce by about a point.

Conclusion: I'm currently over-medicated, and we can reduce a couple of things 🎉

Moral - watch out for thyself (which has always been the case of course, but just re-enforced again).
