Hi,

Just introducing myself. From Sydney. Moved to Singapore in 2010 and flew mostly with SQ so joined KrisFlyer. Moved to Tokyo in 2012 and these days fly QF & JAL, with a bit of J* Japan, CX, & AA thrown in there as well so joined QFF instead.

Hoping to learn about the best way to build up my points and status with QFF. I have read some of the posts about status runs etc, I don't think I would be doing exactly that, but maybe tailor a holiday/trip around one.

Cheers,

cross

Welcome to AFF!
You live in a great city mate, can't wait to go back and visit Tokyo.

Welcome Cross.Tokyo is a great city.Love visiting Japan.
As to FF programs it depends on what you want out of the program. If you want premium awards I would still consider Aadvantage. If First Class lounges and lifetime status are important then QFF is now better for that.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
