Pleased to read that the Duke, Duchess and Prince of Cambridge booked out the entire First Class Cabin on QF2; finally some revenue to book up to QFi!

Royal tour: Prince George arrives in New Zealand with Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looking happy and relaxed after long flight - World - News - London Evening Standard
Were any AFFers on the flight bumped to clear First Class?

Seems to have been kept under wraps by QF beforehand as British papers were hinting they would take BA via Singapore.

Taking the entirety of F may seem extravagant, but given that previous tours have used chartered aircraft (the last time the Queen visited Australia she did PER-LON non-stop on a BA777) it would actually be a cost saving for a entourage of 12.

As the New Zealand government was paying it is just as well they weren't put in business on NZ LHR-LAX-AKL.

I like the photo in the Daily Mail, even in RNZAF uniforms the baggage handling looks casual:Duchess of Cambridge touches down in Australia wearing MaxMara wrap dress | Mail Online

Should have done something like Tony Blair did (BRU-MEL nonstop 77L). LHR-SYD non-stop possible on 77L?
