Full rollout of 'Points Exclusives'

After dabbling in some exclusives and points auctions in the past, it looks like Points Exclusives are becoming a permanent thing in the Qantas Marketplace.

All items can be bought with points only (implied in the name), and the FAQ says that the store will be updated "regularly".

First batch of items:
  • Antarctic scenic flights (from 3 different cities) - 200,000 points
  • Boeing 787 bar carts - 80,000 points
  • Matchbox Twenty VIP experiences (in 5 different cities) - 345,000 points
  • Socceroos match day experience (Melb only) - 300,000 points
  • Tina the Musical premium experience - 84,000 points

I was interested in the bar cart until I read there were NO trays. :( Àlso comes with no branding... so will give it a miss unfortunately

200,000 for two Antarctic flight seats is actually excellent value at point per $.

But the bar carts do come with an alcohol self exclusion period of 1.5hrs - just like onboard whereby Qantas won’t serve you until you’re up in the air and when the crew are well and truly ready in their own time. All to save a few bux and piss off their loyal customers.

Multiple times i arrive in J, sit down - ask for a beer. We will bring to you first drink service, then an hour later on drink service "let me go look after i have finished everyone else:\" and never return
