I travelled JQ NTL-BNE on the 5th of September and purchased a plus fare which accrues points and status credits. After several weeks and no activity I submitted a points claim that said being a non-partner airline they will follow up and it will be there in 14 business days...surprise! I never heard from them again.

I have now emailed QFF and they have responded asking me to provide PNR and flight details.... this is the third time I’ve provided them!!! They also want the Itinerary and Boarding Pass... Itinerary is fine and on my email but the mobile boarding pass is no longer in my wallet....I hope they just process the claim and don’t come back for round 4! All this for 10SC but it’s more the point and principle than the measily earn.

interesting my QF Hotels bookings took well over 6 weeks as well! So strange that OLA can credit to velocity within a minute of finishing the trip and then a flight on virgins own metal usually takes 5 days!

Given problems with Jetstar crediting over the year, I never rely on a mobile BP - for me it is paper and keep until the flight actually credits.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
