Welcome to the forum Elise. There is plenty of good advice here, and I hope I can start you in the right direction. Presumably, you want to join a frequent flyer program where there is a points-earning link to your credit cards. From your post this wasn't entirely clear. You alos need to consider whether most of your flying will be domestic or a mix of domestic and international. A good starting point would be the Qantas FF scheme, althought there is a joining fee for this. If your travel is international and you want to use Oneworld carriers you could join the AmericanAAdvantage scheme which is free (or it was when I joined). Most credit cards will have rewards schemes (for an annual fee) which you can redeem for a variety of rewards including FF points which can be directed to a number of FF schemes. Some more experienced travellers may be able to give you more direct advice than this. You may need to be more specific in what you want. Good Luck!
