Frequent Flyer Number Ethics

As pineappleskip says - this is a prospective employer. So no reason, even if it is a govt department, that you should not enter the FF number.

You are not an employee yet and so not bound by any company rules.

Besides, the advantages of entering the FF number on the way to an interview are much more to the employer than not. Any status will assist you in being less likely to be bumped from the flight, and if there are irregular operations, your chances of being looked after with another flight are much better.

It would actually be the sesnible thing to do to enter the number.
