Do these sim cards only work for the UK only, I brought a sim card from Maxroam in Ireland which covers a whole bunch of European countries, so I can post on AFF from many countries, current location Amsterdam.

they work throughout Europe, but the data is expensive outside UK

Can anyone confirm that they've been able to top up online using an Aussie credit card? I had an O2 SIM and it couldn't be topped up with a foreign card.

I definitely used my own credit card to top up - i used my friends address as my UK address - but dont think I had to change my billing address for the top up

This giff gaff SIM has been great. I have loaded it with £10 and have unlimited data (as well as plenty of local calls and texts). Even for a stay of just over a week very handy. Thanks!

My friend has sent me some more as I ran out, I'm OS at the moment so I know I need to send to a couple of ppl that have requested already, but feel free to request and I'll send when I get back in the new year

I was sent one of these SIMs, and just thought I'd share that it's working wonderfully (speeds are great and it worked on arrival at Heathrow) - it uses the O2 network!

I bought a data pack online (or whatever they're called) and activated the SIM before leaving Oz, so it was about $20AUD for 3GB of internet - not bad compared to the same thing on Vodafone Australia roaming, coming in at a whopping $61,440 (@$20AUD/MB)!! As a side note, I entered my hotel's address as the billing address, and all went through smoothly
