Hi.

Having never booked a free night award before, I am uncertain how the booking should look.

I qualified for a free night with an 8 nights stay at the Hilton Niseko under the recent promotion, and called today to book into the Conrad Singapore for the night.

The email I received shows a "HHonors Reward" redemption type and rate type "Standard room reward" and a 40,000 points underneath the reward ID. Has this free night cert been used properly or have they billed me points for the stay accidentally?

Thanks

Yeah thats just how they do it.
One way to check is to ensure the reward id on the email is the same as the one on the cert.

Ok, so next question is where would I find details of the cert? I can't figure that part out either...

Nope, no email. But I found in my account, under my redemptions I think it was. Free night certificate and the id is the same so thanks guys. I'll assume it has worked properly.
