Wondering if there is any reason why pages are taking a 'long' time to load / not loading this evening, 5th Feb?

On phone ( Safari) and laptop (IE, Current version).

Ookla speed test gives + 45 MBps, as usual.

Slowness comes and goes, as if the site is very busy. Other web sites such as the ABC are normal.

There's some intermittent lag for me as well, but not too bad.

(~ 90 Mb/s cable connection)

just the same with our lightning fast 6mb/s…….

I’m okay. I’ve been mainly in hotels and virgin lounges today.

I had some issues earlier this afternoon around 3pm, but it seems fine now.

Working ok on our flight PER-ADL on VA.
Was slow on the ground before we left.

It's loading okay for me tonight but I have problems from time to time, especially with the avatars.

It's usually a cdn issue, whatever that is.

CDN = Content Distribution Network

Essentially, copies of the website are hosted around the world on different servers so it loads faster closer to wherever you are.

I'm having Intermittend problems also tonight.

Back in the slow-ish lane this morning; regular 'time-outs', pages fails to load. But irregular. One will load fine, next will time out ...

Is anyone else finding this site painfully slow to load today/tonight?

There were issues yesterday when all I could get for a while was that this site is undergoing maintenance.

Edit: AFF is running like the old dial-up speed. All other websites seem good. Current download speed test is around 40Mbps. May have to give up on AFF for tonight
