Where I am at work in Alexandria it actually looks alot worse than yesterday at the same time

No sign of outbound delays as yet.

Departure still happening on both , arrivals only appears to be on 16L, which rules out most of the heavies .

No aircraft have landed inSYD yet this morning. Expect delays for the rest of the day.

Departures are really affected by fog, finding the runway is easy when your on the ground moving at slow speed. Eventually they run out of planes to depart if there is none landing though!

A couple of internationals have , Cathay , Garuda on 16L

Some early morning Int arrivals are on the ground, I guess only a matter of time until diversion on mass happen.

Hmm interesting DL17 looks like it's headed to BNE , but other Intl flights are landing.

Am on the QF2 which has diverted to Melbourne as well...

Just had a missed approach on 16L.... VA572

Hmm interesting DL17 looks like it's headed to BNE , but other Intl flights are landing.

DL17 may not have enough fuel to divert if it attempts an approach, just because other aircraft can get in does not indicate with certainty that all will be OK, it's a situation that changes by the second until it lifts completely.

I guess better to be on the ground if possible in anyway than divert.
