Fog causes travel chaos in Melbourne

My suburb (some 10kms from the BNE airport) was still blanketed in fog at 8.30am this morning. Given this and the rolling stop works by QF engineers, made me glad that I wasn't travelling this week.

Still, the fog has cleared into a party cloudy day and (amazing) sunshine. Very welcome after 3 days of rain (and my back yard flooding from the excess water) - but on the upside, my lawn may grow again and my tank is full!!

Big fog in the Sydney CBD this morning - couldnt see the building next to us almost...

It made for a pretty spectacular view of the Harbour Bridge flying in around 7:30am though...a big thick blanket of fog almost entirely under the bridge. :)

Saw that on the Melbourne news tonight. Very specky :!:

Actually CBR was virtually fog free this morning. Pity no one could actually take off to get here.:p
