Flying VAustralia operated by Etihad. How credit status will be calcualted?

In addition to above, Assuming you are flying economy, afaik, all Ethiad economy is calculated at the full fare economy rate (and virgin's website would seem to indicate this), something which should be useful if you have a cheap fare.
 
Actually, my understanding was that those tables only applied if you were booking the flight with Etihad (EY flight code) and crediting the points back to velocity. If the flight was a VA code then the VA rates would apply regardless of whose metal you were on. Happy to be wrong, but t would be nice to know either way.
