Flying to Nice via Paris-CDG

I have a question about checked luggage from an international flight to a domestic one via Paris-CDG. I'm flying into CDG on Malaysian and connecting to an Air France flight to Nice. Can my luggage be checked all the way through to Nice or will I have to collect my luggage in CDG and re-check them in for the domestic flight? I'm sure Malaysian will interline my bag to my Air France flight, if I don't have to collect them at CDG. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

You will need to collect your bags and clear customs and passport control in Paris.
