I flying to Manila for work and am planing to tke few days off in Hong Kong. I am a Qantas Club member, but they only fly direct to Manila.

If I fly Cathey Pacific can I use the lounge. Is there a core-shared ariline that operated between Cathey and Qantas that flies to Hong kong.

Also anyone has any advise on where to stay in Hong Kong.

All comments will be very much appreciated, kinda new to the site.

QF fly SYD-MNL a few times a week. When flying QF if you are QC member then you are allowed to use the facilities of the QC lounge.

QF also flies to HKG regularly from all over Australia. So does Cathay. Also Cathay flies HKG-MNL on a daily basis. As far as I understand as a QC member you do not have access to any lounge when flying Cathay. Only QF, BA and AA.

Have you considered Cebu Pacific airlines ?.

They're a low cost carrier operating a young fleet of of Airbus 319s and 320s.

One way flights Manila to HKG start at 1,999 pesos without taxes (approx $51).

Cheapest economy tickets on CX are around the $460 return mark.

Cebu Pacific Air - It's time everyone flies.

To clarify, QP members only have lounge access when flying QF, BA and AA.

Many thanks for all input.

I found Cebu Pacific airlines sites too slow to purchase a ticket online. Is there a website that I can use to check seat avaibility and fare prices.

All anyone know a cathay flight which is shared with Qnatas so that I can get a QF boarding pass.
