Flying to France in July 2011

Ok folks - first time post

Looking at flying to France in July next year (with bicycle too!) for tour de france & trying to determine when is the best time to book?

Also have the option of booking with Singapore and then using points to upgrade to business (at least in one direction!) as an alternative but open to all options!!

FF with QF (minimal points - 30k?) & SIN (40k KrisFlyer, 16k Elite, S$13k PPS) as well as over 100k Westpac points that could transfer to SIN 1 for 2.

Thoughts????

Hi there. Not sure about the points, but I've done that leg on QF, QF/AF, SQ, Emirates, and the long way with Malaysian/KLM over the last 12 months. SQ on the A380 is the best in my opinion. Especially if you are going to upgrade to J.
