Hello,

I live in Sydney. Have some return flights in J between CGK - KUL- CDG on Malaysian coming up and would like to take advantage of the points. I am a member of QFF but don't think I have any points or status as I rarely fly Qantas; I fly Virgin/SG domestic and regional and am Velocity gold. I booked MH for this because of the low price.

Question: which One World FF program would be best for me to join in order to benefit from my MH flights? I am more interested in points than status. Should I/can I use them for Qantas, or join MH Enrich, or something else? Is putting points into MH a secure investment? And if not OW, then something else?

In the next 12 months I anticipate flying 1-2x to USA; 1-2x Asia; 1-2x Europe; 2-3x New Zealand. Also 1x USA-Caribbean, which usually means AA.

I'm really not sure what to do, so very grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Hi 24601

The other factor for important consideration if you are looking to maximise points is which credit card you use.

The majority of points these days come from credit card spend and not from flying

Look at the big 4 bank offering plus citibank to see what they are offering.

Also there is a section on credit cards here

Happy travels.
