Hi everyone,

I will be flying from YYZ to SYD via LAX.

I am a bit worried of the transiting time required at LAX as I only have 2.5 hours in between. I've heard so many bad reviews about LAX airports, clearing customs + immigration. Hopefully someone here can shed some light.

The itinerary:

YYZ to LAX by Air Canada. Arriving LAX at T2 at 8:00pm

LAX to SYD by V Australia. Departing from LAX T3 at 10:25pm.

Would you all think would be enough time for transmitting? I know my bags wouldn't be checked through that means I need to re-check-in my bags.

How long would that take?
How far is T2 to T3?

I am a Canadian citizen as well, would it speed up the process?

Immigration and customs is done before getting on the plane in YYZ so on arrival you just have to walk out.

2.5 hours is more than enough, provided the flight is on schedule
