Hi all

love this site and in need of some advice

I purchased an overseas trip later this year flying from AU - USA - UK then home to Au again through expedia.com.au

My question is now that ive purchased the airfare im just a bit confused with the visa/entry requirements.

i know entering the USA i need to get an ESTA (as i am staying for less than 90 days). is there any other visa requirements that i need other than this? (and my passport).

Also what about flying from USA to the UK. As an Australian do i need to apply for any other visa or documentation to enter the UK from the US?

I'm asking this bc expedia says: It is your responsibility to meet entry requirements for the countries you are travelling to and connecting through
so i just want to make sure I've done everything right.

thanks for your help in advance

US - no visa required unless 1) you have a criminal record 2) are a journalist, going to work or planning to stay for longer than 6 months. Your passport must be machine readable (they all are now anyway)

UK - no visa required for stays up to 6 months. Regardless of where you are entering the UK from - the US or Bourkina-Faso
