From my experience take an absorbent chair pad (Conni & Bluey). Use highest drop aid + pad

Also first rows are usually exit row so he won’t be allowed due to medical issues

You can ask dr to place catheter ets but that can cause more issues

Maybe a hop to ADL first as you won’t be able to use loo on board at all

Maybe in jetstar, but on Qantas and Virgin row 1 is not emergency exit, just a bulkhead.

Going eastbound from Perth the flights are generally pretty quick… 4hrs20 yesterday from PER-BNE.
