I am at present working 6 weeks FIFO offshore Guyana. My company flew me in on emirates to JFK via Dubai then down to Guyana with Caribbean Air. I am Qantas Gold. Company refuses to pay for a QF ticket. Should I just take the reduced Qantas points and no status credits (some bloody "partnership") OR join Emirates for the miles (about 4700 miles Syd to JFK).
TO COMPLICATE MATTERS on the way back to Guyana in 6 weeks I am flying Air Canada to Toronto then Caribbean.

These HR people really know how to stuff up your FF life.
If I join *alliance which airline FF program do I join. I always fly QF domestically and most common overseas destination is Singapore ?Kris Flyer
Thanks for the advice
