Fly around Australia in under 24hrs

My daughter has a homework challenge to try and fly from Adl in any order including PER, DRW, BNE, SYD, CBR,MEL and HBA then back to Adl
Any combination in 24hrs

All help appreciated

I assume it doesn't matter which airline/s are used?

I couldn't quite find a combination that takes under 24 hours (using real flights), but here's one at 24 hrs and 10 mins.

QF800 PER 17:30 - DRW 22:30

QF1543 BNE 06:00 - CBR 07:50

Still a few dodgy connections, but here's one at exactly 24 hours using real schedules:

QF1509 SYD 10:00 - HBA 11:55

Have you tried using the QF flight that does ADL-CBR-BNE? QF706 then QF950 6:45 arriving BNE 11:10.

Probably need to start by looking at the routes with limited flight connections and build around those.

Sounds like you are trying to do a sc run. If so those connection times are just too tight

A few of us on AFF have actually looked at doing this last year and although they concentrated on VA v QF, I don't think anyone came up with a routing that was within 24h. I mused with something like this earlier in the year and still no routing could give realistic connection times and make it around Australia to all the capital cities in under 24 hours.

I've still got that thread bookmarked somewhere. I still hope to do it one day. I'm looking at combining it with a charity event or similar with the aim of giving all the donations to a charity like Flight Angels.
