Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this - I'm still finding my way around :-) but ...
I'm flying Melbourne to London QF9 on Friday 22nd feb and will be able to guest 1 into Flounge Melbourne. I will be there from about 3pm, maybe a bit before - flight is at 4.40pm.
Cheers
Ps do let me know if there is a proper way to do this and I've broken all the rules!

There is no proper way but there is a specific thread from Meetings.

e.g this is the thread for Februaty 2013. You will notice threads for each month....

Chocsaway, I'm on QF9 on the 22nd too. I look forward to meeting you in the F lounge.

Thanks John. Is it only useful for flights from Australia or also for the return leg? As I am on QF2 to Singapore on Thursday 28th Feb from
Heathrow and will be in the Flounge from about 18.30 - once I have negotiated the transfer from Zurich...

Chuckle .... Poor you - shame you can't "guest" J too :-) ok disheveled and medicated ... Eyes peeled!

Any flights.

Just miss you in SIN as I am on QF52 SIN-BNE on 28 February.

I'm ensconced in my "usual" seat. Blue and white, more blue than white, striped shirt, 11" Macbook Air and mini iPad. Near the TV's but not in the TV sections.

Well that was a lot of fun - Meeting up with Tony Hancock and Dot in Melbourne! The time whizzed by and before I knew it were boarding, suddenly travelling doesn't feel so lonely - I did have a moment of blushing as we boarded and old Tony and Dot headed to the right and back and I turned left - don't you love those words "please turn left miss anderson"? But i didn't feel too guilty for long as Tony and Dot had been upgraded from Why to PE so they were happy!
Back on board at Singers for the last leg to London ..... Very very sick lady on the last sector, poor thing - we ran out of sick bags! Too much detail? Yeah maybe....
Looking forward to meeting up
With fellow AFF's next time if you happen to be on QF 2 on Thursday 28th.

Thank you Tony Hancock and Dot you made me feel very welcome today!!

Chocsaway :-)

An absolute pleasure catching up with chocsaway and dot. Time really did fly by as we sat and chatted in the lounge. It made for a lovely start to the journey.

Looking forward to catching up again......and I have just realised what is behind the handle chocsaway.... made me smile.

dot is definitely the most frequent flyer I have net. The number of miles flown this year is staggering and scary.

I've just got to my hotel in BCN and agree with both Tony and Chocksaway - great to catch up.

Tony, as it turns out, I realised afterward that I had exagerated my miles for this year so far, it's currently about 90,000Kms for the year, I think when I said over 100K, I was thinking about at the conclusion of his trip (when I select a single year on flightmemory it includes upcoming trips in the stats) next Saturday - still a lot though! ;)
