Qantas BYO. Better to advise in advance I guess. As it turned out this service from BNE/CNS was cancelled and was rerouted via SYD, but I chose a later direct flight.

I’ve been stuck in BNE for 24 hours and also received a few of these messages. None of mine had the part about catering.

I assume this was an early morning departure - probably due to no catering crews working overnight, the airport was not accessible for a period due to both the Gateway motorway and airport drive being closed due to flooding.

To be frank, as long as there is wine aboard I’ll be happy.

Yes, this message was for the 6 am 717 flight to CNS. I initially was on the 9am flight which got cancelled, then this 6am one got cancelled too and decided against the QF reroute via SYD in case I got stuck in SYD. Booked on VA 845am instead.

At the BNE QP (J Lounge is closed) and they just paged that no flights have catering.

After two cancellations I’m on my third flight which has been delayed three times.
