Hi all, Newbie here so take it easy on me

I have decided after doing volunteer work locally for 2 years now to combine my desire to travel abroad and volunteer at the same time, I have decided to do volunteer work in Costa Rica ( I wont bore you with the details in case your not interested, but would be happy to share more info if you are)

Anyhow, i am starting my placement in January 2011 and was wanting some advice on the cheapest flight options for a Return trip.... I didnt realise volunteering would be so expensive!!

Im in Melbourne, and flight dates are going to depend on the best prices i can find. This is my first time traveling OS so all advise is appreciated

So Melbourne to San Jose, Costa Rica in Jan 2011.... Hoping you can help me find the best price.

clarityjane,

Welcome to AFF.

Getting good prices in January will not be easy due the school holidays.

Good luck.

I'm sure someone with knowledge of that part of the world will chip in shortly.

I'd be interested to hear more about your volunteer work!

One option is Delta via Sydney and Atlanta, for about $2300 at that time of year.
