Apart from the ability to earn a full refund as oppose to a Qantas credit with fully flexible, is there any other difference between them?

The difference is that fully flexible free name changes (as opposed to with a fee), a waiving of the change fee if changes are made and the fare is fully refundable even if not cancelled before day of flight (as opposed to a credit which is only available if cancelled before the day of the flight).

In other words the fully flexible fares are a rip-off and QF sell them to suckers and when the other fare classes are sold out. Generally any change fees are lower than the fare difference and the same points/SCs are earned anyway.

Cheers thanks for that.

I'm not worried about the price. Company booked me a full flexible fare today as there were no red-e or flexi savers left. Just wanted to know whether I would receive any benefits such as extra points.

You do earn full economy SCs (as opposed to discount economy on red-e-deals), but this is the same as flexi saver so no, no difference.
