How can I tell if a particular QF flight is flat beds or not? I'm on QF5 Singapore to Frankfurt tomorrow (Tue 27th) and I know that they sometimes have flatbeds on this route now. I have an option of going a route through London which will be so am pondering my options and this could make a difference.

I use the KVS Availability tool to view seat maps. It can access via most of the major systems, including Amadeus, Sabre, Apollo etc. Though some of the on-line maps for that flight are showing a little strange. The Sabre map clearly shows 5 rows in Zone-A (the nose) and row 19 on the upper deck, so this is a standard 2-class Dreamtime configuration.

The skybeds have only been installed on a small number of the 2-class aircraft so far (3 I think now done), and they tend to be used on the BNE-LAX route at the moment. FRA flights are not due for Skybeds until later this year or early next year.

Thanks guys - went the BNE - SYD - SIN - LHR - MAD option rather than BNE - SIN - FRA - MAD just for the flatbeds

You would have got the Skybeds on BNE-SIN anyway as QF51/52 is operated by A330 aircraft. You could have taken QF51 BNE-SIN and then QF9 SIN-LHR and then connect to MAD, hence one less leg and avoiding the SYD connection.
