Travelling to Dubai for the first time in March and arriving early in the morning i.e. before 5AM. Can anyone suggest or recommend any lounges that an arriving passenger can access before leaving the airport? I would rather spend time and freshen up in the airport lounge than pay for a hotel room for a night that I wont be using. I am not a member of any Business clubs (QC member but not flying them) but happy to pay to get into a lounge with good facilities.

Also can anyone recommend a lounge to use when leaving Dubai, again, not a member of any particular club.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Craig.

I am not sure if you can access any lounges as an arriving passenger but you should be able to purchase access when departing.

Both PriorityPass and LoungePass offer access to the DUBAI INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CLASS LOUNGE in Terminal 1 but I think you need to be a ticketed passenger to use the lounge facilities. Are you technically ticketed if you are an arriving passenger with no onward travel that day? With LoungePass you can purchase a single entry to the lounge and the cost is £19.00 per person whereas PriorityPass requires membership upfront and there are various levels of membership.

Otherwise you can get access to the lounge if you have an Amex Platinum charge card, Diners Club card or Mastercard Titanium card (don't think this card is available in Australia).

Thanks, I will be ticketed, but not for travel on that day.

Cheers
