Hi guys,

I'm looking at booking a flight and was just wondering on the difference between a first saver ticket and a first flex ticket. I notice that the first saver accrues FF points and status credits as "discount first". Does anyone know if this is less than a normal first class earn for FF points and status credits? Thanks!

No difference in point/SC earn.

The difference is in cancellation/change penalties.

Where are you going, fare rules are based on departure and destination countries and differ as such.

Thanks guys. I'm doing SYD-AKL
