First QF business flight

Ok, so, first QF business flight completed. It was alright, and worth the points to upgrade, but I'm glad I didn't pay the $ for it. Managed to sleep, it was the lay-almost-flat bed, and I'm only 5ft tall, so it was quite comfy, not sure how normal people would manage though? The breakfast wasn't as advertised, and the service wasn't much different to that I've experienced in Y. Maybe I'll try a non red-eye next and see if its better?

The red-eye is definitely not the way to get the best J experience.

I think the best is the late morning flight to enjoy a leisurely lunch and some drinks on the bird but IME you won't get the lay-flat seats at that time. Nevertheless, still a much better way to go IMHO. The red-eye is a PITA.
