Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Also, you can't do a SFO-LAX-SEA-LAX-SFO in a single day anymore as the connection in SEA is too tight; it use to be possible though. SEA-LAX-SFO-LAX-SEA is doable in a single day though (if you were thinking about doing it in a single run, just pointing it out).

Hey drewbles,

Just looking at this for Feb 2011 and it looks like u can do SFO-LAX-SEA-LAX-SFO in a day:

SFO 0735 - LAX 0905
LAX 1045 - SEA 1327
SEA 1510 - LAX 1747
LAX 1905 - SFO 2030

Although there is a warning on the LAX connection time in the evening..??..??
What do you think?

Ahh it's back. That's the one I did last year. Until end of this year the turnaround in SEA was 25-35 minutes. The warning would most likely be a terminal change warning not a time warning. If it's all on the same ticket, you'll be protected. This is a full F fare for this route.

It's showing a time warning and a terminal change warning.

I'm assuming it's the evening LAX connection - but I'm thinking it would be ok.....

So how quickly do the status points go through if you've added your QFF number to the booking?

Also, it's a bit disappointing that you can't enter the Admirals Club with an AA F ticket, yet you can easily get into AS Board Room on the same itenary.

Points typically credit from AA to QF twice a week, so within ~72 hours or so after the flight i've found. I've never had to manually chase up AA flights, but I know that some have. If you've not seen anything a week or so after, call up QF and submit your documentation.

Points have come through, I'm now a SG, with another 635 to WP.

Thanks to all who helped me in this thread. Am contemplating doing a BNE-NAN J run in Feb or Mar if I'm a few hundred SC's away from WP, but I should be doing weekly MEL-BNE runs that will net me 15+30 each time, so should be fine.
