First Lounge Sydney

Well am currently sitting in the SYD F lounge and finally having the pavlova. In all of my visits I've never been here at the right time for the lunch menu.

I might have to do a Jessica and have more than one dessert. ;)

Oh and the spa was magnificent as well.

I never know whether to enjoy a large meal in F lounge or to wait and have the meal on board in F.
So I usually do both....

There is a person after my own heart - I really enjoy doing both ( and watch my weight strictly before and after holidays so that no weight gain ensues!)

I have used the F lounge in Melbourne on numerous occasions ( and found it to be excellent).
On my next trip to LHR, I am flying via Sydney (QF1) as the re were insufficient seats on QF 9 from Melbourne.
My wife and I are flying First, but our 3 children ( 10 - 18 year old) are in economy ( they have no status).
Questions:
Is Sydney F lounge similar in standard to Melbourne F lounge?
I know theoretically we can only bring 2 visitors into the F lounge - do people think they will allow all of our kids into the lounge?

I just had an email from a friend tonight in the MEL F lounge.
Looks like the spa treatments have had the QF " enhancement " . now a 20 min max treatment.
I wonder if that's the case in SYD as well?

Is the food better than the rest of the airport ?

Better? It's a personal taste thing I suppose.( I think it is)
As a travel perk, I can honestly say, it's a nice environment, a glass of champagne with your breakfast is a nice way to start the day

That's good and bad

Gets more people a chance to experience a treatment

When I am flying F I usually take advantage of the timing and grab a meal 2.5 hours before my flight. That way, by the time I eat on board, it is at least 3.5 hours later.

I only have 40 mins max to spend at F Lounge this Sun. Does anyone know if that's enough time to order and finish breakfast? Thanks in advance.

Discuss your order with them to ensure it can be prepared in time. Shouldn't be an issue.

Easy, in 40 mins I can have a shower, breakfast, two glasses of Tatt and still squeeze in five minutes of browsing AFF.
I'd probably have to save the Soduko and Times crossword for the plane though.

Depends on how busy they are, took close to 40 minutes for my Eggs Bene on Thursday at 8.

Took a lot less than 30 minutes yesterday. Lounge did not look busy though.

They'll prioritise your order if you're in a hurry. Usually they ask to see your boarding pass or ask what flight you're on.
