Hi All,

With the new VA to KF transfer I am looking at cancelling half of our 2015 Europe trip with Etihad and flying back with Singapore swaping our business class for first class.

For a couple traveling with a 9 month old (she travels very well and I promise if you are on our flight she will not disturb you :) )

Firstly it's going to be about 40,000 more points which I can transfer from Westpac and at least $2400 in Fuel/Infant costs. So I guess is it really worth it? We have only ever done Etihad business international.

Secondly if we where do it it which plane would be better?

Singapore to Sydney

A380 First class suites

Vs

777-300ERS new First class

Thanks in advance

SQ Suite A380 is worth it. Period!
A380 Suites is the way to go.. if you have never been before

PS what dates are you looking at? note to self: choose a different day:) (disclaimer: happy to travel with infants/children etc - in fact have flown in QF F with an infant (not mine) that cried 1/2 the journey, did not really hear anything after a few glasses)

The gentleman and I flew back from NRT-SIN in September in the new 777 First and SIN-MEL in Suites with our 7 month old son. I would take the A380 over the 777. More privacy and more space if you get the middle seats and can basically make a double bed.

Does Suites have a bassinet option seat? Maybe row 2 has child facilities.

2C/D both have bassinets, but I think these seats are blocked online so you gotta call them directly to book it or book 3c/d and get them to manually swap to 2c/d
